Why YOU should visit Tanks-Alot  - I booked the "private crushing" experience as a surprise for my dad’s 70th birthday with two spectators. The process beforehand was very smooth. Vanessa always replied very quickly to... read more all my questions and provided clear explanations. On the day itself we arrived a bit late, because of traffic. We informed the staff at Tanks-Alot and it was not a problem. We were greeted in a friendly way and met our instructor Max. Max told us that the day would be about us and that we were allowed to climb any vehicle we wanted to and we could have as many photo opportunities as we wanted (he wasn't kidding and even after over hundreds of photo's he still was patient enough to wait). We got to drive the 443 and the Abbot SPG ourselves. No clip or photo can show how amazing it is to drive these machines and how much fun it is. Max was patient and clear in his instructions and he really made sure we had a great time driving these machines. We then went to the armory with an enormous collection of deactivated firearms (hundreds), where you get overwhelmed with where to begin looking and asking questions about. Luckily Max gave the suggestion to talk about the history of British weapons from the 16th Century up until modern day (which I can recommend listening to). Of course he filled it with typical British humor which made it fun, even if you don't know much about firearms. We then concluded the experience with my dad driving a Chieftain tank over an actual car, again amazing and difficult to explain how awesome that is. Tanks-alot also has a lot of plans for the future of adding old tanks to their big list of vehicles you can drive. It is expensive, but more than worth the money, considering what you get out of it. I can definitely say I will return in the future to try out these new vehicles. I rate this experience 10/10 and I want to specially thank Vanessa and Max for the good care, the laughs and making it a day me and my dad will never forget.

  Great experience  - Great experience my husband loved it . Lovely staff, very helpful with me as a spectator because walk with crutches.
