27 wolf 90 land rovers were specially adapted for special forces and The Parachute regiment by a company called Ricardo.
Most were lost in combat or training. The rear wings are adapted so that they fold and another piggies front wheels can be placed on its back so two can be strapped to a pallet and dropped out of an Aeroplane or slung under a helicopter.
This particular one is in very good order and has just been mot’d and has a UK V5. Basically she’s ready to drive away. The vehicle odometer reads 47,000 kilometers but the engine is an army duck egg blue recon and looks to have done much less. The gearbox and clutch are very good too, making a very nice driving vehicle indeed.
