LONDON.’, 2 1/2in. chambers (some rusting at breech ends), bored approx. true cyl. and 1/4 choke, No.1 stiff to fit, No.2 right bore dimension marginal and wall thickness at 19;
additional unsigned 28in. nitro barrels (Birmingham proof for 1973) with ribs gold-inlaid ‘1’ and ‘2’ at the breech ends, 2 3/4in. chambers, bored approx. 1/4 and 1/2 choke;
toplevers gold-inlaid ‘1’ and ‘2’, automatic safeties with gold-inlaid ‘SAFE’ details, hand-detachable lockplates, gold-inlaid cocking-indicators, beaded border engraving, the undersides with ‘ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR’, brushed bright finish, 14 1/4in. figured stocks (heavily swept at combs, setting cracks to rear of lockplates No.2), weight 6lb. 9oz.
