Airport Crash Tender RG93AA This advert is possibly for an overland camper conversion. This Alvis 9.2 turbo Cummings powered airport crash tender starts and runs well and can be seen performing on our Tanks A Lot Ltd Facebook page posted May 29th. The mileage reads about 40,000 but my other two similar vehicles read 1,200 and 4,200 and are in exactly the same condition so I suspect it could be just 4000 miles, the reading is very faint and hard to make out.
The steering wheel is in the middle, great when going abroad and it has an automatic gearbox for restful driving. For some reason the main foam cannon has been removed and is in the cab but is probably a very easy fix and has been removed to avoid low branches when shipping.
Alternatively it would make an excellent crash tender, it does seem such a shame to adapt it.
