Lots of work on the Striker kiddy camper, love the new opening for your bigger driver. With a bit of luck we should get the new side opening drivers hatch from Allweld and the tigging ( alloy welding ) on the repositioned hinges won’t be to neat and blend in with the rest of the vehicle. I noticed a bald bit on the back of my head from Mrs Mead’s haircut, hmmmmm. ... See MoreSee Less

Well I was in two minds about tastefully turning the striker in to a kiddy day van. I decided to ring a someone with a young family who would give me an opinion that I would value. He was very enthusiastic, paused then said ‘ could I buy it ‘ well you can’t say fairer than that.

WHAT DO YOU THINK !
I’m keen to make this striker in to a day van basically cut three windows, strip out the back and carpet it in green crocodile pattern. Then make up some seats for young kids. Personally I think lots of guys with young family’s would love the idea of going to shows with something that appeals to the kids. It would be possible to make some steel plates that slide in to channels to cover the windows when it was doing poppy day parades.
I need every ones views on this before I hack away with the grinder. ... See MoreSee Less

After a 25 mile excursion in my new Ferrett all around Banbury ,when I get back I find Commander Kate mead, head of filming had been sitting in the turret grinning and forgotten to take one single movie of bemused Polish people we encountered on our refuelling recce. Things are seriously quiet, all those fun and crazy jobs that we are asked to do with tanks seem like distant memories.
Lots of interest in sales and some scary customers to.

Took a large deposit last Saturday on Margaret thatchers armoured bus built for her and her cabinet after the Brighton bombings at a cost of many millions even back then. Now he’s not returning my messages or calls. His loss somebody else’s gain. It’s available with her Union Jack boots and Union Jack umbrella . A one off piece of British history with very low milage.could come in very handy in the not so distant future. ... See MoreSee Less
What do tank fixers do in the middle of a pandemic, well they fix tanks of course. not sure if we will need them but hate to see a new vehicle not ready for anything. Who knows we could be asked to escourt toilet roll lorries to retail outlets. We’ve been asked to do stranger things here at tanks a lot. ... See MoreSee Less
The truth is I don’t really like tanks an guns, I only ever wanted my own luxury toilet roll factory. It’s hard and expensive to start a factory like that from scratch so I have had an idea on just recycling used toilet roll. Could every one just stop flushing it away and save it for me. I can collect on a monthly basis door to door by Tanklimo. ... See MoreSee Less

A real fun day doing a corporate day. Thank you Montague Evans for getting us out of the workshops. Thank you Nigel for doing the cooking, it’s been over 4 hours since I’ve eaten and I’m feeling fine. Great driving in tough conditions and a quality car crush by Tom our winner but only with a bonus point from his team winning the Bren strip.
